August 2020, Lytham
Siblings Elvin and Beenish Asher opened Elvin's Street Food in the heart of Lytham in August 2020, an open kitchen, a small counter, and the dishes we grew up eating at home. Lebanese-inspired street food that was fresh, healthy and actually different.
Six weeks later, Elvin's was the #1-rated place to eat in Lytham St Annes on Tripadvisor. It hasn't moved since.
The family grows
Next came Edwin's in Poulton-le-Fylde, same family, different name, run by our brother, which quickly became Poulton's top-rated takeaway on Tripadvisor. Many of our recipes are family-inspired, drawing on Middle Eastern heritage and our mum's home cooking. That's not marketing; it's just where the food comes from.
April 2026, seats at last
In spring 2026 we opened Elvin's Kirkham at 83 Poulton Street, our first branch where you can actually sit down, and the only evening dine-in option in Kirkham town centre. Same marinades, same fresh-daily rule, plus a few Kirkham exclusives (the lamb chops earned their reputation fast).
Everything is prepared fresh daily using our house marinades, with a focus on flavour, quality and consistency, whether you're dining in or taking a box home.
